Would you like to know more about famous artists? Come along and learn about Art History.
Would you like to join a friendly, enthusiastic group? If so, join this course! You don’t need a background in art to join, just a desire to know more.
We will look at a different artist every week, including Joaquin Sorolla, Henri Matisse, Andy Warhol and Bridget Riley. Using vibrant images, video clips and a few quizzes along the way, it’s fun! Book now, limited spaces available.
My aim is to dispel the myths around modernist artworks, and enable people to understand what messages the artists are trying to convey through their work.
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
You will learn through a series of power point presentations, worksheets, quizzes and via discussions held during the daytime resulting in the ability to analyse and have a better understanding of artist’s work from the 20th Century.
