Authentic Oriental Chinese Dumplings course in Cambridge.

Brief Description:

If you love a Chinese dumpling and want to learn how you make them then this is the course for you! Come and have fun whilst learning how to make these authentic dumplings.

All the ingredients will be supplied for the course; please bring an apron, tea towel and dish cloth and get ready to learn the art of dumpling making. The tutor will demonstrate and explain how to prepare and cook the dishes. You will then cook them from scratch and take home your delicious meals (or eat them if you can’t wait!)

You will make chinese pork and prawn dumplings, seaweed (fried and water based type) chives, prawn and tofu dumplings. Make a sauce to go with the dumplings aswell.

Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?

No experience is needed.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
• Make the dumpling stuffings using a variety of ingredients
• Crimp the edges of the dumplings
• Methods of cooking the dumplings
