The CAE course is intended for learners with an upper intermediate / lower advanced level of English. It aims to prepare you for the Cambridge English: Advanced examination, concentrating on the five skills: reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking. If, however, you do not wish to write the exam, you can just concentrate on improving your skills.
To access information on exam centres offering booking deadlines and dates for the exam please go onto the website: www.cambridgeenglish.org You will also be able to access exam practice papers.
The course is priced per 10 weeks (one term). You will probably find, like most learners, that you need more than one term’s tuition to be prepared for the exam (if you choose to enter for it). If this is the case you will be offered the opportunity to re-enrol and pay for another term.
LIMITED FUNDED PLACES ARE AVAILABLE: If you are on a low wage or unemployed you may be able to access a FULLY FUNDED place on the course. Contact the centre for further information.
