Brief Description:
Get Hooked on Crochet!!
This course will introduce you to making garments from crochet stitches. Crochet jumpers and cardigans have become popular due to historical TV and Film appearances, most recent being Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
This course will cover a simple jumper pattern, which can be personalized to your taste
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
You will need to be fluent in all the basic crochet stitches and understand the increase/decrease stitches and be able to read a basic crochet pattern.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn to get the correct tension for the size of jumper
- Understand how to personalise a simple pattern
- Create a unique crochet jumper to wear

There are many complex patterns to try for crochet clothing. If you wish to progress after the course we can advise which patterns to try.
Adult Learn and Train offer courses through-out the year.

You will find provision on some Saturday and Sunday’s, you will also find courses available in the day and evening at different venues in Cambridge. Courses vary in length from one-off sessions to 10 weeks or more
