Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese self massage technique that is thousands of years old. It works with the meridian lines, acupressure points, circulatory and lymphatic systems of the body. Gua Sha increases, over time, levels of collagen and elastin. With regular practice it smooths, lifts and plumps the contours of the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
Understand the benefits of Gua Sha.
Learn and understand the basic instruction of Gua Sha.
Learn to complete a 1 minute daily routine.
Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment
Gua Sha Tool.
For the first session you will need to bring:
Please bring along a Gua Sha tool, hand mirror, or small mirror with a stand, a serum or moisturiser (recommended but not essential) Please also bring a pen/pencil and paper for note taking. Water to drink.
