Brief Description:
Learn to make a seasonal flower arrangement with a rustic feel. With no knowledge of flower arranging required, come along and learn tips and tricks for successful use of bulbs, spring flowers and twig blossoms in a floral design using no foam. All materials are included in the course fee. Just bring your scissors!
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
No prior knowledge required. Please notify the college of any plant allergies before attending.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
- Apply techniques to create a pretty spring floral arrangement in rustic style
- Know how to care for your completed floral work to maximise its life
- Learn tricks for using Spring flowers and bulbs in a floral design
Please note this design will be in a wooden crate or basket subject to availability of stock.

All materials required are included in the course fee
For the first session you will need to bring:
Strong scissors,(wire cutters if you have them), bin bag, notebook and pen if you want to record any information for yourself, camera (optional), apron. Also a crate or semi rigid bag (e.g. supermarket hessian bag) to transport your design. You may wish to bring protective disposable gloves for your hands or hand wipes as the plant material can get messy!
