On this Stained Glass Copperfoil weekend course you will be making a beautiful 3D stained glass tea light holder, which can double up as a free standing glass panel or you could make a hanging sun catcher the choice is yours.
If you prefer to bring along your own design your tutor will be happy to discuss any ideas or special requirements you may have on the day.
By the end of the day learn how to:
• Cut and shape glass, incorporate other objects in you work.
• Copper foil and soldering technique
• Apply this to 3d work.

Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment:
Tools will be provided.
The cost of the course does not include any of the glass or copper foil costs; you will need to purchase these from the tutor on the day approx. £10.00 depending on your design.
For the first session you will need to bring:
Any ideas you might have on the design, and please bring a packed lunch.
On completion of this course, what might your next steps be?
You could attend a longer stained glass day or evening class.
The Adult Learn and Train office is able to give course information or search for alternative courses for you.
Adult Learn and Train offer courses through-out the year.
Try similar courses or maybe look at learning something completely new.
You will find provision on some Saturday and Sunday’s , you will also find courses available in the day and evening at different venues in Cambridge. Courses vary in length from one-off sessions to 10 weeks or more.
