2022 is the year to start again… Take time for you (away from the house!)

Adult Learn and Train understand what the last couple of years has been like for so many. So much uncertainty, fear and frustration. Lockdown rules changing frequently, and our lives put on hold.

Well, with the world opening its doors again, its time to start planning what to do with ourselves. Adult Learn and Train are here to help with that!

Join one of our courses, if you can’t commit to attending a weekly class, why not join one of our day schools coming up.

Join us on Saturday 5th/Sunday 6th March or during the Easter break from Monday 4th April 2022.

Festive Greetings and Happy New Year from Adult Learn and Train

What a wonderful first term for us in 2021/22. We ran over 80 sucessful courses and have received some wonderful feedback.

We are ready to go again from January 2022; we have lots of courses continuing and some really great new provision coming up…. Look out for NEW provision in British Sign Language, Confidence Building, Councelling aswell as Japanese Bread Making, Archaelogy, Astronomy, Portraiture and Politics in Turbulent Times.

We hope to see lots of new faces in 2022 aswell as our faithful returners.

Office closure:

Adult Learn and Train will be closed from 1pm on Friday 17th December until Tuesday 4th January 9am. 

If you are hoping to book onto a course, please email or call 01223 712340 and make sure you leave details of which course want and your contact details. On our return, we will work through messages in strict date order to ensure booking is as fair as possible.

Saturday classes happening on 16th October

We are really excited about our 2nd Saturday day schools of the year!

Courses include Criminology, Fundamentals of CBT and Japanese Ikebana Flowers.

Please make sure you ring to book to avoid disappointment.

English and Maths Confidence 5 Week Courses Starting in June 2021

These short courses are designed for learners thinking about gaining a functional skill or GCSE qualification.  In the 5 weeks you will establish your level and build your confidence in your chosen subject before having the opportunity to enrol on a full course.

These courses are FUNDED. This means there would be no fee to pay if you meet the funding criteria:

This course is fully funded if:  you are over 19 years old , live in Cambridgeshire and  Peterborough combined authority and have lived in the UK / an EEA country for the last 3 years. And do not have a qualification higher than GCSE grade C or 4 in the subject you have chosen.

Funding comes from Cambridgeshire Skills.

Learners will need to commit to the full 10/12.5 hour course and complete relevant paperwork.

If you do not qualify for funding but would still like to attend contact the office for a price.

To participate you will need an email address, a reliable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet with fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome). Your device will need a microphone, and preferably a camera.
