The course focuses on learning how to identify and release tension in body, breathing and mind through the practice of yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation. The aim of the course is to improve the flow of energy in the body to promote physical good health and mental well-being. It is suitable for all abilities, including beginners.
There is a health questionnaire to complete before the first lesson. This will be sent out with confirmation of your booking.
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
No experience needed. All ages (19+) and abilities are welcome.
By the end of the 10 week course you will have the opportunity to:
• Learn how to release and relax physical tensions and mental stress.
• Develop your awareness of body, breath and mind.
• Improve health and well-being.
• Gain some awareness of the philosophy underpinning physical yoga practice.
Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment:
Please provide your own yoga mat (buy from bigger supermarkets or sports shops: £5-15)

A yoga mat. Please wear comfortable loose clothing. Your health questionnaire – you can also return this by email.
