Brief Description:

If you love a Chinese dumplings and want to learn how you make them then this is the course for you!

All ingredients will be supplied for the course; please bring an apron, tea towel and dish cloth and get ready to learn the art of dumpling making. The tutor will demonstrate and explain the dishes. You will then cook them from scratch and take home your delicious meals (or eat them if you can’t wait!)

You will make chinese pork and prawn dumplings, seaweed (fried and water based type) chives, prawn and tofu dumplings. Make sauce to go with the dumplings.

The tutor will also demonstrate how to make dumpling wrappers from scratch and Chinese egg noodles. Time permitting you, as the learner might be able to make some noodles to go with your dumplings!

This is an authentic course that really is too good to miss!

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
• Make the dumpling stuffings using a variety of ingredients
• Crimp the edges of the dumplings
• Methods of cooking the dumplings
• Make dumpling skins and Chinese egg noodle from scratch.

For the first session you will need to bring:

Tea towel, apron and dish cloth, sharp knife, containers with secured lids (further information on amount and sizes will be given at a later date)
