In this course we will work to produce a traditional Portuguese style meal with starter, soup, main course and dessert. A light interactive day where we aim to produce good food and be able to replicate the same in future. Through the course we will go over the recipes with the ingredients, portions and every detail allowing you to replicate them at home and impress your friends! This course is an excellent opportunity to learn about the Portuguese flavours. At the end you will know how to prepare a traditional Portuguese meal that will delight your senses!
The day will begin with a quick talk through the lesson plan and introduction to Portuguese cookery and variations and demonstration wherever needed with a few tips added in.
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
• To learn and improve practical skills
• Develop an understanding of using spices and herbs in Portuguese cooking
• Help confidence and enjoyment in cooking and tasting Portuguese dishes
• Develop a better understanding of Traditional Portuguese dishes.

For the first session you will need to bring:
You will be provided with every single recipe, please just bring a dish cloth, tea towel and containers to take your food home in. The lessons are run on an informal basis, which is fun to do whilst learning some new recipes and techniques.
