Course details

Brief Description:

How about cooking some Vietnamese street food? You will be using various herbs and different techniques to create some wonderful dishes. Recipes include: Pho (Hanoi beef noodle soup), chicken with lemon grass and chilies, Vietnamese salad rolls.

Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?

No previous experience required.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
• To learn and improve practical skills
• Develop an understanding of using herbs in Vietnamese cooking
• Help confidence and enjoyment in cooking and tasting Vietnamese dishes
• Develop a better understanding of Vietnamese Street Food

Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment:

All ingredients will be provided.

For the first session you will need to bring:

Apron, tea towel, dishcloth, a food chopper (if you have one), Please bring a pack of 6 – 8 takeaway size containers. You will share a dish you cooked for lunch.
