Course details

Brief Description:

You will be taught for 8 sessions that will cultivate and ignite a greater enthusiasm for life drawing and drawing various forms of still life. As the 8 weeks progress, you will become increasingly more aware at how to approach life drawing and increase your skills when drawing still life objects. Within the term there will be a life model present for two sessions.

Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?

No previous experience needed in drawing.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
• To explore and increase your drawing skills.
• Increase your knowledge and understanding of form.
• To produce unique pieces of work.
• To gain confidence in this subject area.

About Your Tutor:

Bethany Eaton
Bethany is a practicing artist who works in Cambridgeshire tutoring a variety of groups on a variety of art based subjects. Her artwork is in mixed media, using drawing and printing techniques to produce portraits.

Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment:

There will be some materials supplied for the first few weeks. The tutor will discuss and suggest materials for you to purchase within the first couple of weeks.
The fee for the life model is included in the course fee.
