In this course we will explore coping strategies for people who are experiencing depression, or have experienced depression.
In a safe and supportive space we will work both individually, and as a class to understand how we can enhance quality of life, and promote wellbeing using new or improved coping skills. The course is also open to family members.
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
No previous experience or knowledge needed, only a desire to increase awareness and work towards new strategies for coping with depression.
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
• Explore the types, causes and symptoms of depression.
• Develop individual coping strategies.
• Explore the importance of lifestyle changes that can improve and enhance wellbeing.
• Know how to access appropriate help during, and after the course has ended.
