Enjoy the art of weaving pliable willow into three-dimensional objects.
This workshop will teach you how to make a willow birdfeeder for the garden.
You will learn two styles of birdfeeder and have the opportunity to make as many as you like during the workshop.
Enjoy expert tuition in a relaxed and fun environment.
Previous Experience and Knowledge needed?
None
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn some basic willow weaving techniques
- Learn how to prepare willow for weaving
- Make at least two different bird feeders
Extra costs of the course?
None – all materials are included in the cost.
For the first session you will need to bring:
A notepad and pen. Feel welcome to bring a snack if desired.
On completion of this course, what might your next steps be?
Willow basketry workshops, frame basketry, obelisks.

Adult Learn and Train offer courses through-out the year.

Enjoy the art of weaving pliable willow into three-dimensional objects.
This workshop will teach you how to make a round willow basket. You will learn a variety of weaving techniques and be encouraged to design your own basket, choosing from a range of willows, weaving styles and basket sizes.
Enjoy expert tuition in a relaxed and fun environment.
