BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Have you ever tried Japanese bread? In this class in Cambridge, you will learn how to bake Japanese bread using ingredients available in the UK.
Japanese bread is fluffy and moist because it contains a lot of water. This makes the baking process slightly different from that for UK bread.
Let’s enjoy baking tasty, gorgeous Japanese bread!
On the day we will bake:
Oven-baked vegetarian curry bread x 6 buns (savoury)
The menu for this class is the hugely popular Japanese snack “Curry bread.”
The traditional curry bread is deep-fried, but we will be making a healthier version of curry bread by baking it in the oven. Oven-baked curry bread is also easier to make than deep frying, so this recipe is recommended for beginners as well.
During the class, you will learn how to make an easy spicy curry filling (vegetarian). Then, you’ll wrap the filling inside fluffy bread dough, coat it with bread crumbs, and bake it in the oven. By the end of the class, you’ll have a delicious and satisfying oven-baked curry bread to enjoy!
