A course centered on three days, making furniture using different joints.
First day: the focus will be on make the first two wooden chairs.
Second day: the focus will be on learning how to make a portable table.
Third day: the focus will be on making two summer chair.
You will be shown how to use different techniques and how to use the machines and tools correctly.
Dates of the course: 18th May, 25th May, 1st June
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
This is not a beginner’s course. Previous experience necessary. Contact the office if you are unsure.
By the end of the course you will:
Make two wooden chairs, using the skills you have covered.
Make a portable table.
Have the skills to make two summer chairs
For the first session you will need to bring:
A pencil and notepad.
Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment:
To be confirmed – there is an allowance for wood in the course fee up to a certain amount.
