Brief Description:

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at willow weaving? Come to this half-day event in Cambridge and learn weaving techniques to create a dragonfly, wind spiral or birdfeeder for your garden. Relax and enjoy the therapeutic effects this craft promotes.

Learn how to prepare willow for weaving, and create decorative items for your garden or as gifts for other’s gardens.

All materials will be provided. Pitch up on the day and go home with your masterpieces.

Small class sizes to ensure every learner has individual attention and help where needed.

Previous Experience and Knowledge needed?

None

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn basic weaving techniques to produce 2 items for the garden
  • Learn how to prepare willow for use.

None – all materials are included in the cost.

For the first session you will need to bring:

A notepad and pen. Feel welcome to bring a snack if desired.
