Face Yoga is an amazing workout for your facial muscles. We all know the benefits of practicing Yoga and keeping fit, well our faces can also benefit from a gentle workout!
Experience incredible anti-aging benefits as well as reducing headaches, sinuses, grinding teeth and neck strain.
On this second term further develop your face yoga skills.
In this term you will see the addition of acupressure, massage, gua sha and more advanced face yoga moves for the complete face yoga experience.
Learning Outcomes
- Understood and learn the correct moves for more advanced face yoga exercises.
- Learnt benefits of acupressure and how to use it safely and confidently on your face.
- Understand the benefits of Gua Sha tool and use it safely on your skin.
- To be able to complete all the face yoga moves safely and effectively.
Previous Experience and Knowledge Needed?
Yes, you should have completed the first term or have some experience practicing face yoga.
Extra costs on the course for example text book, materials or equipment
None.
For the first session you will need to bring:
Please bring along a hand mirror, or small mirror with a stand, a gua sha tool hand sanitizer and a serum or moisturiser (recommended but not essential). Please also bring a pen/pencil and paper for note taking.
On completion of this course, what might your next steps be?
Adult Learn and Train offer courses through-out the year.
Try similar courses or maybe look at learning something completely new.
You will find provision on some Saturday and Sunday’s, you will also find courses available in the day and evening at different venues in Cambridge. Courses vary in length from one-off sessions to 10 weeks or more.

Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese self massage technique that is thousands of years old. It works with the meridian lines, acupressure points, circulatory and lymphatic systems of the body. Gua Sha increases, over time, levels of collagen and elastin. With regular practice it smooths, lifts and plumps the contours of the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Understand the benefits of Gua Sha.
Learn and understand the basic instruction of Gua Sha.
Learn to complete a 1 minute daily routine.
