I completed my B.Ed in Mathematics at Homerton College, Cambridge in 1989. I have also gained a Level 4 Qualification subject specialism in adult teaching. Since then, I have taught in a variety of settings, focussing mainly on adults. I have taught Adult Maths classes (both Functional Skills and GCSE) for over 21 years.

Did you struggle understanding Maths at school and still shy away from Maths in general?
Join this short course, (suitable for those who do not have a GCSE/Level 2 qualification,) to begin your journey towards greater confidence.
In just 5 weeks you will look at and gain confidence with:
- using the metric system of measures and costing projects that involve perimeter and area.
- financial matters and setting budgets, comparing loan rates.
- interpreting data and graphs and charts within real-life scenarios.
This short course is the perfect opportunity to change any negative perceptions you may have about Maths.

This course is funded by Cambridgeshire Skills, so full attendance is required; you will also need to complete an enrolment form so that the office can apply for the funding and complete an online individual learning plan weekly with your tutor.
